We raised $4738 for a new well in Ethiopia!

On March 19th, 2013, P.R.I.D.E. Vista Grande held the fundraiser for Dr. Hodes with the goal of raising $3,500.00 for the doctor to build a well for the children in Ethiopia.

We are very happy to share that the children, the principal, the teachers and volunteers from Vista Grande, everyone together, made it happens by achieving the amount of $4,738.00!! Now Dr. Hodes can put some of these funds toward a new well, and use the remainder for other needs (operations, girls scholarships, and more).

We would like to thank each and every child who made it possible by first believing (that it was possible) and then by buying the stricker and the T-Shirt with our logo!

Thanks to each and all of you! Thank you all for being connected with this first fundraiser for Dr. Hodes!

What is our mission?

Our mission is to raise awareness among children illustrating how we are all truely connected and how by working together we can make a difference in the world.

We want to carry our message to children in cities, states, and countries throughout the world conveying this message of being connected and through efforts supporting voluntary causes at their schools they can help children in need.

Our current project is to raise awareness and funds to assist Dr. Rick Hodes in providing medical care and clean water to children of East Africa. This project has two primary beneficial objectives:

First is educational: Children at their schools, with the help of their teachers and administrators can work together to help those in need. Each and every child realizes he/she can make a difference!

Second is financial: Our objective to raise money in each school through special fundraisers, as well as permanent recycling of bottles, cans and cell phones.

How can you help?

We would love your participation by motivating your school to embrace our mission and adopting our current fundraising project for Dr.Hodes cause at your school.
